I really like au gratin potatoes, I prepared other versions, today I chose the combination version: potatoes, onions, parmesan, mozzarella and kaiser.

  • 7 medium-sized white potatoes
  • 1 white onion
  • 80 gr. Parmesan
  • 100 gr. mozzarella
  • 250 ml sour cream
  • 100 gr. kaiser
  • salt
  • mosaic pepper

Servings: 4

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Potato au gratin with kaiser:

Peel the potatoes, wash and drain well. Cut into thin slices and put in a heat-resistant form.

The oven is preheated to 200 ° C.

Peel the onion and cut it into thin strips.

Then put it over the potatoes.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the potatoes and onions.

Cut the mozzarella into slices and place evenly over the potatoes.

Then add a little salt and mosaic pepper.

Cut slices of kaiser and place on top.

If the cream is too thick, thin it out with a little milk.

Then pour in a durable form over the composition.

Add to the oven, on medium rail, at 200 ° C for about 40 minutes.

Serve hot.

Recipe for baked potatoes as you like

If you want to try this recipe for baked potatoes you need:

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 150 gr kaiser
  • 150 gr mushrooms
  • 250 gr cheese
  • Salt, pepper, basil, oil

Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into small cubes. Then put them to boil in salted water and leave them on the fire until they have penetrated a little. Be careful not to boil the potatoes too much because they will crumble. When the fork will penetrate them, even if this will be a little harder, it is time to take them off the fire. Drain the potatoes very well. Put a little oil in a pan and then the potatoes. It is good to place them evenly on the entire surface of the tray so that they are all done at the same time. After you put the potatoes, sprinkle with salt, pepper and basil. Basil will give a very appetizing aroma to your potatoes.

Bake the potatoes for a few minutes. Meanwhile, cut the kaiser into small slices or cubes, the mushrooms must also be cut into small pieces, and the cheese must be grated. After you have kept the potatoes in the oven for about 5 minutes, take them out and sprinkle the kaiser, mushrooms and cheese on the entire surface of the tray. After that, put the potatoes back in the oven over medium heat until they are well penetrated.


Then come the au gratin potato recipe, I mean the ingredients (how to do it, I've already written to you):

  • some 16 potatoes medium and thinner (about a half kg in unclean condition) - 2.25 Ron
  • a few thin slices of dry salami: 10-12 are enough (I put Sinaia from Cris-Tim, because it does not contain sugar, glucose and other hidden wonders that raise blood sugar too much) - 1.20 Ron (Update: cris-tim changed not only the packaging, but also the recipe for Sinaia salami , already contains sugars)
  • 150 g grated cheese with large grater (Bluedino- this week is on sale at Lidl) - 3.5 Ron (2.5 Ron this week, worth buying more and frozen either whole or grated)
  • a large glass of sour cream 12% (should not be measured, only with the eyes: a quarter or a third of the cream in a 1 kg bucket, it will be ok) - 1.6-2.1 Ron
  • 4 eggs whole- 2 Ron
  • a small teaspoon of salt
  • a teaspoon of pepper mocha
  • 100 ml olive oil- 1.5 Ron

Total approx.12.5 Ron.

Here is another proof that the price of a daily menu can saturate a family. You make another cabbage soup for example (about 2 lei 4 servings), and your belly is set aside.

Potato au gratin chicken & # 8211 a relatively quick lunch, suitable for a family meal, as well as the baked potato recipe (you can find it here)! When you have a small child, you have to adjust somehow, therefore the amount of salt was relatively low (only the salt contained in the cheese), but we each put it on the plate if we thought it was necessary and served it with pickles! A goodness!

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 150 gr grated cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 gr cream 20% fat
  • oregano
  • butter
  • salt (optional)

Peel the potatoes and bring to a boil (whole or cut in half).

Cut the chicken breast into cubes and place in a non-stick pan with a little butter, salt (optional) and oregano. When the potatoes are almost cooked, turn off the heat, throw in the water in which they boiled and leave to cool.

In a bowl beat the 3 eggs and mix them with the grated cheese and cream.

We take a ceramic bowl that we grease with butter, we put half of the diced potatoes

& # 8211 half of the egg mixture with cream and cheese

& # 8211 diced potatoes and the last time we had leftover eggs mixed with cheese and cream.

Place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.

These Potatoes with au gratin broccoli are among my favorites, they are so easy to make and they are so tasty that you don't even need anything next to them. The taste of browned potatoes but also their creaminess fascinates me to the fullest.

I have been making them for more than 20 years, being a recipe that I learned in my first job and I can say that I have tried various options, this is my favorite. They can be made as single portions but also on the tray and do not require special ingredients but no very skilled hand in the kitchen to have a good result.

As I said earlier, the ingredients are simple, available to anyone and it is not necessary to fast them with broccoli, they can also be made with smoked ham, smoked bacon or other vegetables such as mushrooms, or just cheese. .

Ingredient:

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 250 g fresh broccoli
  • 20 ml olive oil / fasting butter, recipe here

Method of preparation:

We clean the potatoes, cut them in 2 as for puree and wash them.

Boil the potatoes for about an hour in cold salted water. We take the foam as many times as needed.

Boil the broccoli for 30-40 seconds in boiling water. We take them out and put them aside.

Heat a pan with olive oil or vegan butter and add the broccoli, water-soaked potatoes, salt and pepper and mix until crushed.

We can make individual portions using molds or actually pour them into a tray lined with butter / oil and breadcrumbs.

Bake for 12-15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius or until nicely browned. If you make them with shapes, put a baking paper on the tray, and the portions should have a distance of at least 2 cm between them. You can serve it with fasting cheddar made from carrots and cashews, the simple recipe here or as such.
